Southport CARES for children
Urgent Press Release
4th October 2005
The CARES group (supported by the National Childbirth Trust) are presenting an open public meeting to debate the most recent loss of Southport’s maternity services, including the MLU, and the previous relocation of our children’s A&E provision.
A review is presently being undertaken by Gill Dolan, Southport & Formby PCT Chief Executive, concerning local health services which the PCT hope will be finalised later this month.
The CARES meeting will be held in the Fearn Building, room N 10 at King George V College, Scarisbrick New Road in Southport on Wednesday, 19th October at 8.00pm.
Please enter at the main entrance of KGV College.
This is your chance to have your say to the NHS/PCT decision makers.
CARES, as a voluntary organisation, have been fighting hard for a considerable time for ‘your’ health services.
Please support us in the campaign for the reinstatement of your services now!
