Dear Mr Parry
We write to you for related information concerning important health-related issues.
Are you going to support the campaign to prevent the move of Alder Hey? Ormskirk has always had the back up of Alder Hey and if the move does go ahead at what cost and extra miles for Southport, Ormskirk and Formby residents?
Please supply us with dated minutes (possibly June 2003 or earlier) of any meetings which support your claim that it was always the intention of the Trust to bring back ‘First Births’.
This latter request is extremely imperative for us to acquire as recent controversy over this issue casts much doubt on certain statements made by the health authorities. At the CARES meeting both you and Jeanette Brookes expressed abject disdain at claims which disagreed with those of both the NHS and the PCT.
