Patient and Public Involvement Forum
Members of CARES attended a public meeting brought together by the Patient and Public Involvement Forum (PPI) on Monday 16th May in order to discuss various hospital issues concerning residents.
Many issues were discussed including the danger posed by the distance between hospitals in an emergency; lack of organised transport and the need to have immediate emergency access to Southport's A&E for our children.
People who attended this meeting were asked to fill in a sheet raising any concerns and that all matters relevant would be taken into account and noted.
