Southport CARES for children

The CARES committee (supported by the National Childbirth Trust) are presenting a public meeting to discuss the recent loss of Southport’s maternity services, including the MLU, and the previous removal of our children’s A&E facility. A review is currently being prepared by Gill Dolan, Southport & Formby PCT Chief Executive, concerning local health services which the PCT hope will be finalised in October.
CARES meeting will be held at King George V College, Scarisbrick New Road in Southport. The date and further details are to be arranged. CARES will be asking Mrs Dolan and the PCT to consider all points addressed at the meeting within her forthcoming report.
